We have built countless decks, patios, stairs and ramps using many types of decking materials, including:
#1 grade cedar (2x4 or 2x6)
Pressure treated round edge boards
Composite decking (such as TREX decking)
Decking materials such as pine and fir tend to rot quickly and are not used.
All deck framing is done with pressure-treated hemlock.
We Set Proper Foundations
Deck foundations are generally a 2’x2’x6” footing and a 6” or 8” sonotube column. “Do it yourself” decking blocks are not used unless requested by the customer.
We also set up on newly-introduced decking products, such as step lighting and underneath fastening systems. If you have a picture, design or drawing of a deck you want built, contact us.
